"Marinas presents a pictorial territory where body and water cease to be separate entities and become a single organism in motion. The painting arises from an amalgamation of bodies whose outlines dissolve as the eye attempts to grasp them. The forms insinuate themselves, emerge, and retract, inviting the viewer to dive in, decipher, and inhabit this unstable space.
Overlaid on these dissolving bodies, veils of glazing sweep across the surface of the canvas in thin layers, creating the sensation of waves, tides, and aquatic vibrations. These flows render the body permeable, expanding it beyond the flesh and bringing it closer to the fluidity of water. The result is a hybrid microcosm, a kind of pictorial aquarium, where opacity and transparency face each other and feed off each other."

“Marinas” apresenta um território pictórico onde corpo e água deixam de ser entidades separadas para se tornarem um único organismo em movimento. A pintura nasce de uma amálgama de corpos cujos contornos se desfazem à medida que o olhar tenta apreendê-los. As formas se insinuam, emergem e se retraem convidando o espectador a mergulhar, decifra e habitar esse espaço instável.
Sobrepostos a esses corpos em dissolução, véus de velatura percorrem a superfície da tela em camadas finíssimas, criando a sensação de ondas, marés e vibrações aquáticas. Esses fluxos tornam o corpo permeável, expandindo-o para além da carne e aproximando-o da fluidez da água. O resultado é um microcosmo híbrido, um tipo de aquário pictórico, onde opacidade e transparência se enfrentam e se alimentam mutuamente.
