In this work, the map of the Amazon rainforest is covered with the texture of human skin. Through cartographic research, the largest areas of deforestation were located and worked into the composition as burns and lesions.
In less than twenty years, more than 400,000 square kilometers of the Amazon rainforest have been destroyed. The work transposes the materiality of human skin onto the virtuality of a map, bringing to the surface the dialectical tension between the body and an environment under destruction.

Nesta obra, o mapa da floresta amazônica é recoberto por textura da pele humana. A partir de pesquisa cartográfica, as maiores áreas de desmatamento foram localizadas e inseridas na composição como queimaduras e lesões.
Em menos de 20 anos, mais de 400.000 quilômetros quadrados da floresta amazônica foram destruídos. A obra transpõe a materialidade da pele humana sobre a virtualidade de um mapa, trazendo à tona a tensão dialética entre o corpo e o meio ambiente em destruição.
